Point Of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) Workshop - 2 sessions available
Led by: Dr. Daniel Kim: Assistant Professor of Medicine at Temple University Hospital; Director, Point-of-care ultrasound, Internal Medicine Residency at Temple University Hospital
POCUS: Foundational Skills for Home Care Providers Point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) is a diagnostic tool used by physicians at the bedside to look inside the human body in real time to help answer specific clinical questions and guide clinical therapy. This half-day workshop is designed to teach the fundamentals of POCUS and the highest yield POCUS modalities for the home care provider. Utilizing a small-group, hands-on format, attendees will practice ultrasound scanning on live models to support the development of bedside image interpretation and acquisition skills.

Wound Care Lab - 2 sessions available

Join us for an education and information packed session that is focused on the challenges and solutions of wound healing. This wound healing journey focused pre-conference is designed to help you navigate wound care, dressing and therapy selection, and chronic wound management to ultimately improve treatment success. This pre-conference will include 2 hours of lab time for a hands on experience and demonstration of products utilized in treatment.

Hospital at Home Users Group will hold its Annual Meeting as a Pre-Conference event on October 27. Gathering hospital at home leaders and practitioners, this virtual conference (AAHCM Annual Meeting is in-person in Orlando) will provide high quality, up-to-the-minute information about this innovative acute care at home model, related policy practice developments, and the Hospital at Home Users Group.
